Terms of Service
Effective 15 June 2026.
These terms govern your use of SecondServe (the "service"). By signing in or using the service, you agree to them.
What SecondServe is
SecondServe monitors public availability on third-party tennis and other racket-sport court booking platforms (currently ClubSpark, Courtside, Playtomic, MATCHi, Better, Everyone Active, Places Leisure, Active Lambeth, All Star, Padel Mates and Royal Parks) and notifies you when courts you've asked about become available.
We do not book courts on your behalf, do not store payment information, and are not affiliated with the booking platforms themselves.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use SecondServe. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your sign-in email accessible — we use it to send sign-in codes.
- You can sign out at any time from the Profile screen. Signing out revokes the device's bearer token; signing back in returns you to the same account.
- You can permanently delete your account from inside the app. See the privacy policy for the details of what deletion does.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to access other users' accounts, alerts, or data.
- Reverse-engineer or interfere with the service's operation, including evading rate limits or scraping our APIs.
- Use SecondServe to harass, defraud, or otherwise harm others.
Notifications
Push notifications are delivered on a best-effort basis through the Expo Push Service, which relays to the platform push services (Apple's Push Notification service on iPhone and Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android). We don't guarantee delivery, ordering, or that a notification will reach you in time to book a court — third-party booking platforms operate independently of us.
You can disable push notifications from the Profile screen, in your device's notification settings, or by deleting your account.
Service changes and availability
SecondServe is in active development. Features may change without notice and the service may be unavailable during upgrades or due to issues with upstream providers.
Liability
SecondServe is provided "as is", without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for missed bookings, notification delays, or any other damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page; significant changes affecting the way we handle your data will be highlighted in-app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
